Ever since he set foot on a building site in 2010, founder Michael Farmer has restored Queenslanders. Throughout his apprenticeship and on-site experience, Michael’s dedication to the finer details forged a love of restoring and renovating colonial homes and buildings.

When our founder, Michael Farmer, hit the construction site for his first renovation in Yeronga in 2010, he was simply looking to swap a desk for work in the outdoors. Instead, he found a home for his natural gift for carpentry.
Since then, Michael’s dedicated himself to learning and mastering the carpentry and building skills required to restore, revitalise and recreate Queenslanders. A builder, nature lover and family man, Michael named REMI Constructions in honour of his first love, pup Remi. This loyal, upbeat vibe is exactly the enthusiasm you’ll feel as Michael restores your Queenslander. These days, you’ll find him on-site shadowed by Gilligan, his loyal GSP. (That’s a German Shorthaired Pointer, if you’re a bit rusty on your dog breeds).
